Great sandwich and a overall cool place. Only gripe I had was its a bit pricey. I didn't leave hungry so it was definitely a full meal but its not a place I'd be able hit up often because of the price. I'd definitely go back and really enjoyed it. Parking was a bit confusing but I got a street spot a few blocks away so no biggie.
Arrived on a rainy overcast day. The wonderful smells in the air made me happy with my lunch choice of Bona Fide Deluxe! I entered and was met by great vibes, from the music to the awesome assortment of chandeliers in the space! Loved it! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and very happy to offer recommendations. I chose the "Burger Week" B.F. Burger and Fisherman Fries. The burger is a Double smash patty of ground brisket, chuck & short rib, topped with american cheese, diced onion, pickles, & super deluxe sauce on a potato roll. DELICIOUS ! You tasted all the flavors individually and together, spectacular! Bravo!
The sandwiches are huge and flavorful! We tried the Korean fried chicken sandwich, pimento cheese, sea man fries, and grilled cheese for the kiddo! Our kiddo said it was the best grilled cheese ever! The sea man fries were thick wedge fries with seafood flavored seasoning with tarter sauce! It was a great spin to traditional fries.
These folks know what they are doing! They have created beautiful sandwiches with so much flavor and a space/vibe that has so much charm. Here's the breakdown of what we got: Spice Girl: This cocktail was so refreshing. As the name infers, it has a lot of spices but was not overwhelming at all. The person mixing the drinks did a great job. I even saw them (hygienically obv) tasting the drinks before they went out which you should always do but people rarely do. Pimento Cheese Dip: Really great pimento cheese beautifully accented by some pepper jelly. Fantastic. Plus they gave ample crostini! Why do you go to so many places and they are stingy with the bread? IDK but these folks aren't! Fisherman Fries: Honkin wedge fries that are seasoned so nicely and are light and fluffy on the inside, yum. Smoked Chicken Wings: Juicy whole wings with a spicy sweet Szechuan sauce. Tuna Melt: Just a well done tuna melt! Goes great with the ciabatta. Hot Italian: I could write poetry about this sandwich. It was so well balanced and delicious every bite better than the last. I cannot wait to return here! You should check it out if you are reading this! You won't regret it!

Food was absolutely delicious! We tried the turkey sandwich, burger and the fries. The turkey sandwich was the perfect combination of ingredients. Burger was the best smash burger I’ve ever had. And the fries are to die for! We can’t wait to come back and try something else... and get more fries.
We hosted our welcome party event at Bona Fide Deluxe, and our guests are still raving about it! The staff were so attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the evening perfect. The team was so welcoming and flexible with our three additional vendors of photography, live music, and our coffee cart vendor. The food was DIVINE! Bona Fide's offerings are so versatile that we were able to keep our vegetarian, vegan, and allergy guests beyond happy. This unique space with outstanding staff helped kick off our incredible wedding weekend, and we could not be happier. Thank you Bona Fide Deluxe!
I love this place. Their main menu is great, but their specials are unreasonably excellent. Everything we’ve tried has been a hit! The staff is lovely and I especially love sitting at the bar to get the full experience. Have been back and will keep going!
